🤯 The cycle
Another tutorial. Another plugin. Another website redo.
Another month goes by where the work didn't come.
It's not a skill problem. It's a focus problem.
The fix isn't another course. It's structure, the right people in the room, and an honest second opinion on your portfolio, your offer, and your outreach, every single week.
Sound familiar?
Your main client just disappeared and your referral pipeline went with them.
Freelancing on lucky breaks. Now the breaks have stopped and you can't tell if it's you or AI.
You've taken every Skillshare course on the list. The clients still haven't followed.
Day job at 9am, building the business at 10pm. And you can't even decide what to work on first.
You've got the skills. You've got the portfolio. No one knows who you are.
One big client pays your bills. You're a phone call away from being back at zero.
Where you are
Skilled but competing with every generalist on price. A broad portfolio, feast-or-famine income, no idea where the next project comes from. And quietly worried AI makes it all worthless.
Where you're going
The go-to specialist for one niche. A portfolio built for your dream client, prices set on value, outreach producing reliable months. And AI woven into your workflow, so it works for you, not against you.
Member case study
"I worked in a restaurant for 19 years, then decided I'd had enough. Found the courses, found Skool, found Future-Proofed. Quit my job and went freelance. I'm sort of living proof."
🏆 Best of Week on CG ArchitectHow it actually happened, in his own posts
1 · January. A portfolio piece from the course makes CG Architect's Best of Week.

2 · March. Starts outreach. First client by referral within two weeks.

3 · Two weeks later. "GOT IT." Eight rooms, plus another inquiry the same afternoon.

What's included
The 12-week roadmap runs in the exact order that works: niche, portfolio, offer, outreach, delivery, scale. And you keep full access, live calls included, for six months.
In week one you define your niche and put your work in front of a real potential client, using scripts already built for you. That's the clarity most 3D artists never get.

24+ sessions across your six months. Live feedback on your portfolio, pricing and outreach from Jake and a bench of working mentors, studio founders and creative directors who bill $100+/hour for their time. Recorded if you miss one, plus the archive of every past call and workshop.

The complete business curriculum in the order that works. Hands-on weekly assignments, not passive watching. Unlocks a week at a time from the day you join.

Sold separately at $39/month: every course Jake has made, the AI + 3ds Max plugin suite, instant replays, and the AI Workflow calls. Included free.

How working studios are actually using AI in production right now, from mentors running those studios. Updated as the tools change, so the program never goes stale.

Sessions with names you can't normally reach. Past guests include Ciro Sannino, creator of 5SRW, whose own program sells for $400+/year. Plus workshops on LinkedIn, composition, scaling studios and more. Every past session included.

The full working set: client contracts, outreach scripts, pricing models, project delivery checklists. Template packs like these sell for $300+ on their own. Maintained and updated.
"Got my first client and project from the outreach. Just proves: it DOES work." Robin

Members-only tools built for FP: a quote calculator, a pricing calculator, positioning, client research and portfolio audit tools. Not available anywhere else.

12+ hours of edited talks with studio owners and industry veterans, and growing: the product manager of Chaos Corona, work for BBC News and Holby City, filmmaking for archviz, AI-powered archviz and more.
Total value: $4,500+
Before counting what money can't buy.
Pricing is discussed on your call. Most members cover it with their first client project.
The outcome
This checklist is the program. It's also your guarantee. ⬇️
Risk, reversed
Complete the 12-week roadmap: niche posted, portfolio shipped, offer defined, outreach running. If you still haven't landed a paid project, we step in 1:1 with a personal audit of your portfolio, offer and outreach, and a hands-on plan we work through with you for the remainder of your six months, at no extra charge.
We can promise this because the roadmap works when you work it.

Not only for freelancers

Who's teaching you
I spent 15 years doing the job you're trying to build. I rendered superyachts in Monaco for Palmer Johnson, then private jets and projects for brands like VW and Google Cloud. Chaos brought me in to make the official tutorials for V-Ray and Corona. I've spoken at Autodesk University, and my work has been featured in 3D Artist and 3D World.
Along the way I started teaching. 30,000+ artists have taken my courses over the years, and my videos have been watched 3.3 million times.
Future-Proofed is everything I know about turning the craft into a business, taught live every week. I built it because nobody handed me a roadmap, and I know exactly how many years that costs.

FAQ
Pricing comes up on your Roadmap Session, because the right plan depends on where you're starting from. But to be straight with you: this is a serious investment, priced like the client work it produces, not like a course. Most members cover it with their first one or two client projects. Payment plans are available. If you're looking for a cheap tutorial bundle, this isn't it. That's deliberate.
Most courses are passive. You watch videos alone and hope it sticks. Future-Proofed is the opposite. Your portfolio, outreach and pricing get reviewed personally, not generic feedback for a faceless audience. You'll have 5 mentors from different lanes, and some weeks you'll get contradicting advice. That's the point: you see the trade-offs and pick the path that fits you. Your peers come from different industries too: product, motion, ArchViz, advertising and more. The network is as valuable as the content.
And it's backed by the Roadmap Guarantee: complete the roadmap, and if you haven't landed a paid project, we work with you 1:1 for the rest of your six months at no extra charge.
You should. This affects your household. Our suggestion: apply first (it's free), take the Roadmap call, and bring home a specific 12-week plan with numbers instead of a vague idea. Partners support plans. They worry about gambles.
Yes. About half our members work full-time. The live call is one hour a week (recorded if you can't make it), the curriculum is on-demand, and most members put 2-5 hours per week into it total. Robin transitioned out of an 18-year bar job. Maciej is making the move from full-time IT. The structure is built around real life.
Live calls are Mondays at 6pm UK time and recorded so you can rewatch anytime. About a third of current members are outside the UK: Australia, the US, across Europe. If the live time is rough where you are, the recordings, community and DM access still get you most of the value. No one's been left behind by timezone yet.
You won't be alone. About half our members aren't native English speakers, from Poland, Serbia, India and beyond. Live calls are recorded with closed captions so you can rewatch at your own pace. Community discussion happens async, in writing, which actually helps if speaking quickly in English is harder than reading and writing it. And the skills we teach (niche, portfolio, outreach, pricing, delivery) aren't language-dependent. You don't have to be eloquent to land good clients. You have to be clear.
The opposite. There's a dedicated section on AI in the program, plus studio AI briefings from mentors running production studios right now, updated as the tools change. Across the community we track how clients are responding, where AI fits into your pricing and positioning, and what's actually working in real client work. Adapting to AI is a core skill we teach. Sticking your head in the sand is what makes you irrelevant.
It's also why community matters more than ever. If you sat on Twitter all day, you'd be petrified, convinced AI has taken over and 3D is dead. Inside Future-Proofed, real working artists share what's actually working in the real world.
About half our members are Arch Viz. The rest is product, motion, advertising, military, shipyards, and lots more. The frameworks (niche, portfolio, outreach, pricing, retention) are the same in every lane. The mentors cover the lanes between them.
Half the room started exactly there. The structure is designed to remove the "where do I start" paralysis: each week unlocks one specific step, so you only ever have to know what's next. The small group means no posting into the void. You'll know everyone's name within weeks.
Yes. Jake hosts the main calls every week, reviews your work, and gives personal feedback inside the community.
The artists who get the most out of Future-Proofed all had something specific that made them apply: a lost client, a quit job, a deadline, a year of slow work. If something specific is happening to you right now, the timing is probably right. If you're just exploring, hit subscribe on the YouTube channel and come back when something specific changes.
Still have a question? Add it to your application. We'll cover it.
"Artists don't know what they're missing. If I'd found this a few years back, I would've quit my day job long before. It's never too late."
